Bunad blankets by Andreas Engesvik

The blankets and pillows draw their inspiration from Norwegian traditional folk costumes (bunad), and each one relates directly to the colors of the corresponding bunad costume. This wealth of traditional colors and patterns have been interpreted into contemporary, classic, products steeped in heritage.

Andreas Engesvik is a highly recognized designer from Norway. He founded Norway Says in 2000, and has won several international awards. Today, Engesvik runs his own successful studio in Oslo.

The Bunad Blankets are woven by Grinakervev, a weaving company with highly skilled weavers and a long tradition, located in the beautiful Hadeland region of Norway.

Next to the stiped blankets, you can also choose from single colour designs. Each will introduce warmth and colour to any interior.
