Appropriate for the season, we launch Fritz Hansen's Choice 2017: Series 7, in the feminine colours of spring time. The shell comes in two colours - the deep red Merlot and the serene pastel Nude - with a matching 4-legged base in a rose gold coating.
Fritz Hansen’s Choice 2017 is currently CHF 598 and available until December 30th 2017. The special overlaps with the running Fritz Hansen’s Choice 2016 - the Ant Chair, which is available until September 1st.
Despite the wonderful colour combinations of this year's Fritz Hansen Choice, the colours might not be the perfect fit to your interior. For those who love the Series 7 chair, but might want a more classic version, we have some great news: the White Edition special has been prolonged and you will be able to profit from the 25% reduction until the end of 2017!

The Series 7 chair designed by Arne Jacobsen is by far the most sold chair in the history of Fritz Hansen and based on the classic Ant Chair. Series 7 is the only product in the Arne Jacobsen collection which was not designed for a special project. It was made to counter the criticism of the Ant chair, which was regarded as being too "less is more". The "Sevener" was primarily conceived as an armchair and it was also the armchair (3207) that Jacobsen himself considered most important. Nonetheless, 3107 (without armrests) was and still is the most popular of all Series 7 versions.
The outstanding quality lies in the supreme quality of materials and unique construction methods. Series 7 consists of a chromed steel base and a steam bent shell in one piece made out of 9 layers of veneer. The 2 outside layers are sliced veneer coming from the best veneer only. These layers are always lined with Indian cotton on the inside. The 7 inside layers are rotary cut veneer in beech, 5 placed lengthwise and 2 crosswise to create strength and flexibility.
