Cirque in three colour combinations
Brand new Cirque pendant from Louis Poulsen
Louis Poulsen joined forces with the lovely Swedish designer Clara von Zweigbergk, famous for her ingenuity with colours, and created a pendant inspired by the rotating carousels of the Tivoli amusement park in Copenhagen, where they held their first meeting. The lamp series definitely makes you think beautiful things, that are inevitably connected to happy moments, like hot air balloons, candy floss or wheels of fortune. It gives off a wonderful glow, but is just as beautiful when unlit. Cirque is available in three colour combinations and in three sizes: Ø150 mm for currently CHF 239, Ø220 mm for CHF 351 and Ø380 mm for CHF 522. Of course, you can hang it in the kid’s room, but we prefer to add it in to unexpected interior, such as a café style kitchen or a fifties inspired dining room.
PH3½-3 in four colours
PH3½-3 now as table lamp
A great bit of news from Louis Poulsen is the introduction of the table model of last year’s PH3½-3 pendant lamp by Poul Henningsen. It is now available with a base in a matt vintage-tinged brown and shades in glass and lacquered metal in four colours, matching those of the pendant version. The current price is CHF 999. This light has a future space on a sideboard, your desk, next to the TV, in the window, on the kitchen counter oh, or maybe on the dresser in the bedroom…
CH22 armchair by Hans J. Wegner from Carl Hansen & Søn
CH22 armchair and CH26 dining chair
Finally, we don’t have to bid or fight for this coveted chair at an antiques’ auction or a hip, high-end vintage stores any more. Carl Hansen & Søn has taken another deep dive into their wonderful treasure chest of Wegner designs and reintroduces the wonderful and comfortable CH22 armchair dating back to 1950. It’s made of oak or walnut or a combination of the two with various finishes and has a paper cord seat with an optional leather seat pad. Luckily, they didn’t stop here, but also decided on introducing the CH26, an almost unknown dining chair in the same spirit, but that was never put into production. Both chairs have wonderful detailing and surprise with excellent comfort. The CH22 currently starts at CHF 2’312 and the CH26 at CHF 1’156.

Archipelago March
Archipelago by Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg
One of Sweden’s brightest shining design stars, Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg, the creative director and chief designer at Swedish rug producer Kasthall sadly past away before Christmas last year, but she left us with her last - and one of her most beautiful designs: Archipelago. The inspiration for the rug came from time spent at a colleague’s summer house on the west coast of Sweden. The rug comes in two colour versions: March and November, both capturing the changing landscape of a clear early spring day and the warmer colours of late autumn. We haven’t decided if it’s going to lie on the floor or adorn our wall, it’s that beautiful! On another note, Kasthall has just presented Ola Rune, part of the famous design trio Claesson Koivisto Rune, as their new creative advisor to follow in Gunilla’s foot steps. We can definitely expect more works of art coming up!

Oxford Premium in 9 colours
The classic Oxford office chair in a new design
Finally, the classic Oxford series by Arne Jacobsen has received a well deserved update and turned into a contemporary design piece we love to look as and sit in. Developed for St. Catherine’s college in Oxford back in 1965 in slightly less vibrant versions, the new selection of colours for the Oxford Premium is just irresistible and the comfort of the adjustments to the design has resulted in an incredibly comfortable office or meeting chair. We want one for our offices now!
PK61 table and PK22 easy chair by Poul Kjærholm from Fritz Hansen
PK61 in a new brown marble
The covetable lounge table PK61 by Poul Kjærholm from Fritz Hansen has a new top in a grey brown marble. It’s our answer to when the white flint rolled marble ended up being to stark or the black slate to dark for an interior. This one perfectly marries with the style we’re looking for: Scandinavian understated luxury.

From moodboard to delivery - an inspiring moodboard by Fritz Hansen
A note on expected delivery times
Are you moving house and need to be sure to have your new bed there on time? From most suppliers we can expect a delivery time of 2-3 months. Many suppliers of lighting are usually able to deliver within the month. Please note however, that there are certain suppliers or certain collections that might have a regular delivery delay of 4 months or even longer. Some production facilities work with small teams of highly qualified craftsmen and high quality raw materials, such as wood that needs to be stored for a very long time. In addition, holiday times, and especially the longer summer or Christmas breaks, are not considered part of the expected delivery times, but extend them further. In order to be sure to get what you need on time, please come to us as early as possible. When you do, we should always be able deal with industry holidays or any other holiday, as well as any unforeseen production or transport delays and still be able to deliver on time to you. Should anything arrive too early, we’ll either store it for you until you need it, or you are in for a happy surprise and can receive your fellow "room mates" for the next decades to come earlier than expected. For any inquiries, we are happy to serve you on info@holmsweetholm.com. Welcome holm°!
